About Us
Mancos Fire Protection District is an all-volunteer Fire District in the Mancos Valley with a rich history and long-time service to our community. Our primary objective is to provide fire protection, prevention, rescue and emergency services to the property owners and residences of the Mancos Valley. We serve a 45 square mile radius and are surrounded by public lands and Mesa Verde National Park.
Organizational Structure
Our organization consists of a chief, assistant chief, fire captain, EMS captain, secretary/treasurer and not more than 25 members. We are proud to be a part of the Mancos Valley and serve to the best of our ability.
Our community is where we choose to raise our FAMILIES and our FAMILIES are proud to be part of our community
